Download Data

Subscription to Atlas
  • This option gives users the ability to download daily and/or hourly time series data as (.csv) files for the solar station(s) and time period of interest
  • 13 parameters are currently available: DNI, GHI, DHI, Air Temperature, Wind Speed and Direction as well as their Standard deviation, Peak Wind Speed, Relative Humidity, Pressure, Azimuth and Zenith Angles.
  • Monthly average values of solar and wind resource data from all stations are available for free, to users who have a valid account
  • Advanced parameters, such as those from newly upgraded Tier 1 stations, are currently free for monthly values for users with a valid account
  • This option gives users the ability to subscribe and have access for a month to explore daily time series data using online mapping and graphing tools that are available on the Atlas, to visualize all daily data from the solar station(s) of interest since installation
  • The Subscription option does not allow users to download data, users can only view data using the Atlas
  • Users can view a “Basic Package” of the following 10 parameters at a daily level: DNI, GHI, DHI, Air Temperature, average and standard deviation Wind Speed and average Wind Direction, Peak Wind Speed, Relative Humidity, and Pressure
  • Viewing of monthly average values of solar and wind resource data from all stations is available for free, to users with a valid account

Signing a Data Use Agreement (DUA) is required for viewing or downloading hourly or daily data
The amount of data available varies by station, with the earliest stations installed in 2013, and new stations continuing to be installed through the end of 2015

Free Data

Monthly average values of all wind and solar resource data from all monitoring stations (including newly upgraded “Tier 1” solar stations) are available for free to users with a valid account:
  • To view this monthly data on the Atlas, simply Log In or Request an Account
  • To download this monthly data, proceed through the Download Data menu above
